The Lake Havasu City Patriot Guard Riders conducted a Welcome Home and Deployment Mission Saturday.

The mission was in honor of US Army / SGT/E5 Lars Peterson and US Army / SPC/E4 Rachel Fairchild.

The family of Lars Peterson and Rachel Fairchild, who are husband and wife, requested the presence of the PGR to honor them for their service to our country.

Peterson and Fairchild are both 15T UH-60 Blackhawk repairmen.

There was a flag line at VFW Post 9401 before the ceremony that was hosted at the post.

In addition to the Patriot Guard Riders, those participating included the American Legion and Military Moms of Havasu. Vice Mayor David Diaz read a proclamation.
