I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. The Walking on Sunshine 5k is finally happening right here in Lake Havasu, created with families in mind. 

This isn’t about racing. It’s not about pace or fitness goals. It’s about getting outside, moving our bodies, pushing a stroller or chasing a toddler, and being surrounded by people who are in the same season.

Motherhood can feel really heavy sometimes.
This walk is meant to feel light. Supportive. Encouraging. A reminder that you’re not doing this alone, and that everybody deserves a little sunshine.
