Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation’s annual Teen Break began at the Rotary Community Ball Fields Monday.

The three-day program features a variety of games, prizes and activities. Teenagers seventh through 12th grade experience the fun in a supervised environment.

Lexy Meyers, first year Teen Break participant, said her favorite part of Teen Break is the large waterslide.

The program contained blow-up obstacle courses, a gaming trailer, yard games, snow cones and a waterslide.

Bliss Fiala, Lake Havasu High School freshman, said, “My favorite thing to do is hang out with my friends and play all the games.”

The program could not have been possible without the participation of Parks and Recreation volunteers. It supervised and made food for the children at the program.
