Organizers of the upcoming Havasu All Abilities Rescource Fair are calling on local businesses and community groups to take part in a fair at the Lake Havasu Aquatic Center Sept. 5, sponsored by Building Bridges in LHC-AMBUCS.

The fair’s purpose is to bring together a wide variety of exhibitors — small businesses to nonprofits and service providers — creating a one-stop place to learn and engage and most importantly, provide information and resources to adults and children of all abilities.

The fair will  provide attendees the opportunity to meet with providers, ask questions and discover tools and services designed to make daily life easier. Resources will range from health and wellness support to educational programs and community services.

A special sensory room will also be available, sponsored by MileMarkers and Calvary Baptist Church, to inspire families to create their own sensory rooms at home.

Vendor and sponsor applications are now open. Businesses, nonprofits and service providers who serve individuals with disabilities or offer supportive resources, are especially encouraged to participate.

The event is designed  as a welcoming environment where families can build connections and find support within the community.

Hosted with support from AMBUCS, Total Bliss Pools, and promoted through RiverScene Magazine, the event aims to bring together service providers, support programs and community organizations in one accessible space.

” I feel that this event is very important because I know there are other families and individuals experiencing similar obstacles,” said President of Building Bridges in Lake Havasu City Chapter of National AMBUCS Inc, Samantha Zasadil.

“Our biggest goal is to help otherswith the resources, so they can thrive. It’s important to come together in this way for the community,” Zasadil said.

Those interested in becoming a vendor or sponsor can request more information or apply by clicking here: https://riverscenemagazine.com/fair/  or emailing HavasuAmbucs@gmail.com. Vendor applications will be reviewed and those accepted will be contacted.

The fair is free to attend,  and is set for Sept. 5, from  9 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Aquatic Center, located at 100 Park Ave.
