Celebratory reading of the Declaration of Independence

Celebratory reading of the Declaration of Independence

I would like to invite the Lake Havasu community to a special July 4, 250th birthday celebration of a reading (at least 3 readings) of the Declaration of Independence beginning at 8:00 am when veterans will lead us in the reading of this amazing document that gave birth to a new nation centered on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

At 9:00 am our youth will be reading followed immediately after by non-veterans and non-youth.
All this happens on the stage underneath the London Bridge.

Also, there will be a large 4×8 ft Declaration of Independence waiting for you to sign your name to during this event!

At 10:00 am (or right after our readings are concluded) a large 60 x28 foot American flag will be unfurled over the London Bridge. You don’t want to miss this.

There is still time to sign up to read , but time is short. I would especially like to ask any veteran to consider reading. Each reading will be broken up into five or ten slots with 135-270 words for each to read. We are not looking for orators just your enthusiasm 

If you would like to read, please call me at 651-253-6114 or email me at lifeliberty250@gmail.com. Deadline is this Sunday, June 28 so that each person reading can receive their part ahead of time.
Our 250th is here. Let’s celebrate!
