From fireworks over the lake and live entertainment to boating and community gatherings, residents and visitors will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate the Fourth of July while creating lasting summer memories. Check out the list below for a few holiday activities taking place before and during the Fourth of July holiday in Lake Havasu City.

London Bridge Resort: Canvas and Cocktails ” Celebrating Liberty ” Fee: $40 (Tuesday, June 30)

The London Bridge Resort invites the community to celebrate Independence Day with a pre-July 4th patriotic paint-and-sip event, “Celebrate Liberty,” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30.

The $40 registration fee includes a 16-by-20 canvas, all painting materials, step-by-step instruction, one cocktail and an evening of patriotic fun.

Reservations are required, and organizers note that spots are not guaranteed until payment is received. Classes are non-refundable.

Go Lake Havasu 4th of July Fireworks at Rotary Park “Fireworks on the Beach” – Saturday, July 4 at 9 p.m.- Free Admission- All ages.

The community can come watch the fireworks set off at Piccadilly Point near Rotary Beach at 9 p.m.

Whether it’s by boat, or the beach, there are plenty of great spots to view a 15-minute firework show and celebrate the 4th of July. all ages welcome.  Rotary Park is located at 1400 S. Smoketree, Lake Havasu City.

Annual Flag Drop Over The London Bridge-  Saturday, July 4 (10 a.m. -5 p.m.) Free admission

Celebrate the 4th of July with American Legion Post #81 on Saturday, July 4th at 10 a.m., for the Annual Flag Drop over the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City (London Bridge McCulloch Blvd Lake Havasu City)

Then return to the Legion (181 Paseo Del Sol) for an afternoon of great food, cold drinks, and live entertainment. Food Served: noon – 2 p.m., along with live Music by Fritz: 2 – 5 p.m.

Calvary Baptist  Church (Sweetwater Campus) 4th of July Family Water Night  Saturday, July 4- Free

Celebrate Independence Day with a fun-filled 4th of July Family Water Night on Saturday, July 4, from 6p.m to 8 p.m. at the Sweetwater Campus.

Bring the whole family for an evening of exciting water slides, delicious pizza, and refreshing ice cream while enjoying a festive community celebration.   Free admission. all ages.

The Heat Hotel  “Stars, Stripes and Splashes ” July 4th Celebration – Saturday, July 4.-Free Admission (noon to 6 p.m.)

From noon to 6 p.m., families can enjoy an afternoon of free Fourth of July fun featuring a live DJ beginning at 1 p.m. with music by DJ Blue & Friends.

Guests can also grab a bite from Mack-A-Docious BBQ, shop local vendors including Dare Me Bikinis and LHC Custom Hats, cool off at the splash pad, and enjoy yard games, popsicles and party favors.

Nautical Beachfront Resort ” Lakeside Blast ” -Saturday, July 4.  (7:30-11 p.m.)

Join the Nautical Beachfront Resort  and watch the fireworks over the lake, lighting up the sky 7;30 to 10 p.m. View from  private beaches, Sip on some cocktails at the bar while the sky goes full rainbow explosion mode. The Nautical Beachfront Resort is located at 1000 McCulloch Blvd N. Lake Havasu City.

Community Reading of the Declaration of Independence Under the London Bridge- Saturday, July 4 

Celebrate America’s founding by attending or participating in a community reading of the Declaration of Independence on Saturday, July 4, beneath the London Bridge.

Readings begin at 8 a.m. with veterans, followed by youth and the general public at 9 a.m.

Advance registration is required by emailing lifeliberty250@gmail.com. Spectators are welcome and are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

The event concludes with the unfurling of a 60-foot by 28-foot American flag from the London Bridge at 10 a.m.
