Facial Hair Takes Center Stage In 55th Annual London Bridge Beard and Mustache Competition

The 55th annual London Bridge Beard and Mustache Competition took place on Saturday underneath the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City.

The competition featured 40 participants who prepared their facial hair to be judged in their respective categories, such as mustache, partial beard, full beard and wiskerina. 

Lake Havasu Mayor, Cal Sheehy, read a proclamation in honor of the event, and entertainment juggler, Brent Fiasco, performed risky stunts.

Twin brothers, Oscar and Adam Bruck competed, with Adam Bruck being the 2025 World Champion for Best Natural Beard. They won “furthest traveled,” coming all the way from Alaska.

The Bruck brothers were excited to participate in the Lake Havasu competition. “It’s all for charity. We’re doing this one, and then in a month we want to fly to Detroit and do theirs, but then we got nationals next month in Anchorage. It’s 55 years, obviously it’s a big deal. So, the community must like this.”
