Seaman James Zasadil, 23, and his family were honored Saturday afternoon with a deployment send-off ride.

The Lake Havasu City Patriot Guard and American Legion Riders escorted Zasadil to American Legion Post 81, where after the Flag line and “God Bless the USA” circle were performed, the party continued inside.
Havasu Mayor Mark Nexsen, State Rep. Sonny Borrelli, LHC Military Moms and officers from the Patriot Guard and American Legion Riders presented Zasadil with various certificates and gifts. Little Ceasers also donated pizzas for those in attendance at the ceremony.
Zasadil is an Electronics Tech in the U.S. Navy and is being deployed to San Diego, Calif., and assigned a new ship.
