Soroptimists Offer Education Grants To Women

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream program offers education and training awards to women who are seeking to improve their lives.

The program provides cash grants to women who are seeking addition schooling or training opportunities.

Eligible applicants are women with financial need and have primary responsibility for themselves or their dependents, according to a Soroptimist press release.

The applicant must be attending an undergraduate program or vocational skills training program.

To apply for the grant, visit http://bit.ly/LYDA-apply. The grant amount is $2,000 and the deadline to apply is Nov. 15.

Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that economically empowers women and girls by providing access to education. According to the website, Soroptimist believe education is the single most effective anti-poverty solution.
