Another busy weekend is on tap for Lake Havasu City with the highlight capping it off with the Veterans Day Parade Sunday morning.
Following is a list of some of the weekend festivities.
33rd Seaplane Classic
The 33rd Annual London Bridge Seaplane Classic will be Friday through Sunday at Windsor 4. This event is free to spectators and open flying begins 8:30 a.m., Friday morning.
Corvettes On The London Bridge
The Colorado River Corvette Club take over the London Bridge Saturday morning from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The bridge will be closed to through traffic for a drone photo/video shoot of “Vettes on the Bridge” during that time.
All Arizona Corvette Clubs of the Roadrunner Region are invited to participate in this historical event.
Space is limited to 75 Corvettes from clubs outside of the Colorado River Corvette Club, with a cost of $10 per Corvette to help offset the expenses incurred with this event. If your club is interested in participating, please contact me with how many Corvettes your club will be bringing.

Arts & Crafts Fair
Lake Havasu Yacht Club Burgee Girls presents an Art and Craft Fair on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to come and shop for handmade crafts, jewelry and many other unique gifts from local artists and crafters.

Desert Warrior Challenge
On Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m. at SARA Park Rodeo Grounds will be the Desert Warrior Challenge.
Participants run two 5K loops through SARA’s Crack Trail.
After finishing this loop, they return to the stadium before embarking on the next challenge Friendly Trail. There are three different checkpoint challenges to test endurance as well as psyche.
The Desert Warrior Challenge was designed for all experience levels from advanced athletes to the beginner.

Water Lantern Festival
Water Lantern Festival takes place Saturday from 4:30 to 10 p.m.
The event experience brings family, friends and strangers together to celebrate life together.
There will be food, music and vendors. One hour before sunset, participants can design their lantern.
The prices are as follows:
Kids prices 0-7yrs are free, 8-12yrs $12 each.
Adults:

Havasu 95 Speedway Races
Racing starts 6pm.
Tickets are:
$12 General Admission $12.00
$10 Seniors 55+, all military active/retired/veterans. Also includes law enforcement
$25 Family Pack includes admission for two adults and two children.
$25 VIP Padded seat with the best view in the house. Includes dinner and drinks.
Veterans Day Parade Nov 7, 2018
The highlight of the weekend is the Veterans Day Parade.
The parade is on Veterans Day – Nov. 11 – from 10 a.m. until noon on McCulloch Boulevard.
