Please join the Young Adult Development Association of Havasu (YADAH) for the inaugural Walk Away From Drugs. This event is to show support to those struggling with mental illness and/or recovering from substance abuse.
The walk begins at Wheeler Park (next to Kmart). Participants will begin lining up at 5pm and the walk will officially begin at 5:30pm.
Participants will walk to London Bridge Beach (approximately 1 mile) where there will be free food and beverages, a live band and information booths/resources from local organizations for treatment and recovery. A free shuttle will be available to transport participants back to their vehicles.
Participants that are not interested in walking can still join in on the fun and meet us at the beach.
