Lake Havasu City Mayor Cal Sheehy was the featured speaker at the Soroptimist’s weekly meeting Oct. 10.

Mayor Sheehy highlighted the Community Resource Coalition which brings together nonprofit groups to coordinate their responses to community needs.

Almost 100 local nonprofit groups participate in the coalition. In addition to nonprofits, the coalition includes city officials, mental health professionals, high school and college students and law enforcement professionals.
