Cancer Survivors Day

Many Havasu residents have been affected by cancer one way or another. On Saturday, June 6, survivors of the disease, along with their family and friends, gathered at the Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room to enjoy a breakfast and honor those around them. A tearful candle-lighting, guest speakers, and a performance by Grace Arts Live were all part of the beautiful ceremony. The breakfast was sponsored by the Cancer Association of Havasu and emceed by Evie Cistaro and Marcia Gaskill.
