We will be replanting about 300 native riparian trees (Coyote & Gooddings Willows) “poles” or limbs after a wildfire last October. These poles are about 4-6 feet in length, about an inch in width. Holes will have been dug, so the work consists of placing the poles, back-filling the dirt/sand, then watering.
Tools will be provided but if you have a pointed shovel and a 5-gallon bucket to bring, that would be helpful.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes that might get muddy, work gloves, water, and a snack or lunch.
