Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City has been awarded the designation of a Qualified Charitable Organization to accept Arizona Tax Credits by the Arizona Department of Revenue.

For those who pay Arizona state taxes, they can designate where they want those taxes to go.

By supporting Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City, women and girls in the community have access to education to improve their lives and those of their children.

Taxpayers are allowed to donate $800 for those filing married and $400 for those filing single.

Soroptimist provides help for low-income women who are heads of households pursuing post-high-school education or training. It helps them meet their immediate needs.
