H.A.V.E.N Resource Center hosted a Lighting of the London Bridge in purple Friday evening and a Domestic Violence Awareness Walk Saturday morning.
Friday evening, Mayor Cal Sheehy proclaimed it Domestic Violence Awareness month in a ceremony under the London Bridge to “Shine a Light” in support of victims.

Saturday morning, walk participants gathered at Rotary Community Park to remember those who have been lost because of domestic violence.
Participants then headed to the London Bridge where carnations were tossed into the Bridgewater Channel in remembrance of victims.
