Meet Coldwell Banker Realtor Georgeann Hoover and her adorable furry companion Pizmo.

Many may know her by her nickname “George” in town. They may also remember them from some open house showings or hiking around the trails in Lake Havasu City. Hoover sure brings the fun, showing her clients amazing homes with her own unique style. Georgeann Hoover is also a go-getter in all she does.

She is also an investment broker licensed in Arizona and  California since she often works across the lake on the California side as well but calls Lake Havasu home.

“My kids grew up here and we spent many summers in Lake Havasu before we decided to move here permanently,” says Hoover.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Hoover moved with her family to California when she was 10. Eventually, she got involved in the insurance industry in the 1980s and also in the title industry in the early 1990s. Hoover also owned a material supply and construction company and was also involved in earthquake retro fitting projects in Los Angeles and Mexico City.

“I used to also be involved in a lot of historical restoration projects as well. I enjoyed that a lot,” she said.

Hoover is the President of the Sunlake Village Home Owners Association and a member of the Lake Havasu Trail Association. In her free time, she loves to hike, enjoy some boating time and off-roading around Havasu and of course, sometimes her dog Pizmo comes along for the ride.

Pizmo first came into the family’s life when Hoover was searching for a small dog.  Eventually, she found a larger one when an elderly couple returned Pizmo and decided to take him home as her own after she found him at a rescue center.

“Pizmo is so perfect for me. He is one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned,” Hoover said. “He sometimes thinks he owns my boat.”

You may have seen Pizmo and Hoover in a recent Tik Tok video that won the hearts of many at one of Hoover’s listings on 2010 Circula De Hacienda, in Lake Havasu City.

“Lake Havasu is such a great community, I love that you know your neighbors and everyone in town. Who wouldn’t want to live here,” Hoover said.

One other service  Hoover offers to her clients  is virtual staging for their homes when listing them. Virtual staging is the process of creating the look of  a furnished home in an empty room in photographed listings on the internet.

“You can see the empty room and it is hard to judge the size on the internet,” adds Hoover. “With virtual staging, you can get a sense of the depth inside.”

Aside from helping her clients get their home sold   quickly with her services, she believes that the city of Havasu also makes it  easier for anyone wanting to purchase a home here and build connections in a friendly city, both in or outside the real estate market.

“The rollercoaster ride of whether you are selling your home or buying one is a lot of fun. You end up developing a lot of friendships. Most of my clients end up being close friends of mine,” said Hoover.

Georgeann currently resides with her husband and dog Pizmo in Lake Havasu City.
