The Cancer Association of Havasu hosted its annual Cancer Ball this evening at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room.
The event was, as usual, sold out and attendees were introduced to the Cancer Association Hero of the Year, Amie Morris. The Hero of the Year is honored by having scholarships for second-year nursing students at Mohave Community College awarded in their honor.
The theme of the evening’s event was The Starlight Ball.
Proceeds fund programs and services provided by the Cancer Association of Havasu under the umbrella of the Havasu Community Health Foundation.
