Havasu Art Trail Features More Than 60 Artists

More than 60 artists are displaying their work this weekend for the Havasu Art Trail 2025. It is the fourth annual event presented by the nonprofit.

Attendees download a map that guides them on the “art trail” to visit the artists where they work.

Havasu Art Trail promotes the art and artists of Lake Havasu City to bring a greater awareness of the local art community.

Its signature event is an annual, self-guided “Trail” from artist to artist in which they show and sell their original works of art. Travelers can also tour studios, watch demonstrations and participate in interactive opportunities, as well as purchase works from the artists.

One of the artists on this year’s participating artists is Julia Robles.

“I am a fluid artist which means I thin down my acrylic paint and pour it onto the canvas or other bases that I use,” Robles said.

“Then I dump and move the paint around so there are no brushes used until maybe touch ups at the end.”

Robles said she has been doing fluid art for more than three years.

“Besides wall hangings, I take pictures of my art and have them printed on numerous things between clothes and shoes and throw pillows you name it,” she said.

Havasu Art Trail continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Havasu Art Trail 2025 is supported in part by the Finn Foundation’s Creative Communities Grant for small and rural arts and cultural organizations, administered by the Arizona Commission of the Arts.
