On Friday, Stonebridge Christian Fellowship will host the famous African Children’s Choir. The choir will be appearing in Lake Havasu City for one night only at Stonebridge’s Ark Center. Families in Lake Havasu will be hosting the children and chaperones while they are here.

According to the African Children’s Choir website, “the organization operates field programs that promote education and spiritual development for children and communities. We have established education and training programs in some of the most war-torn and underdeveloped areas of Africa, serving generations of young men and women who would otherwise be lost in the wake of destruction, famine and poverty.” The organization has been operating for more than 30 years.

Stonebridge invites residents to come and enjoy the joyous song and dance of the African Children’s Choir in concert, and to hear stories of inspiration and hope as the children share their dreams for the future.

There is no charge to attend this concert. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the program will begin at 7 p.m. Seating will be first-come, first-served. Midway through the concert, there will be a love offering, 100 percent of which will go to the African Children’s Choir for their operation.

The Ark Center at Stonebridge Christian Fellowship is located at 2700 Jamaica Blvd. S., Lake Havasu City. For additional information, call the church at 928-855-4818.
