The deadline to apply for an Allied Arts Council of Lake Havasu City scholarship has been extended from March 8 to March 17.

ACC’s annual scholarship program awards talented youth with money to help them fund more instruction through a university, community college, workshop or private teacher. Complete application criteria are available on the Allied Arts website.

Students interested in applying must be a least 16 years old by the end of 2017. Auditions will be April 5 at the Performing Arts Center at the Lake Havasu High School campus. Scholarships in disciplines including music (instrumental or vocal), theater, dance and visual arts are available. Applications are located at the Allied Arts website at alliedartslhc.org.
