Cleaning up Copper Canyon After the Holiday

Lake Havasu Divers Association held the 5th Annual Underwater Copper Canyon Cleanup on Tuesday.  US Coast Guard Auxiliary closed the area from 7 am – 11am so that divers from the Lake Havasu Divers Association could dive Copper Canyon for trash. Nineteen divers with help from land volunteers from the Sea Scouts collected nine 55 gallon trash bags worth of bottles and cans. Many thanks to the Donut Post, Scuba Training & Technology, Lake Havasu Marina, BLM, San Bernardino and Mohave County Sheriff Departments.
