The Heidi Edwards Cooking for Cancer fundraiser was Thursday evening at the Lake Havasu City Golf Club. The fundraiser was initiated by Heidi Edwards to raise money for families battling Cancer.

“It’s Taco Time Somewhere” consisted of local restaurants that made tacos for the guests. There was also a golf tournament hosted at the Lake Havasu City Golf Course Thursday.

Lake Havasu High School Interact Club and Telesis Preparatory Academy NHS students volunteered to serve the food. More than 220 tickets were sold for the event. The band “Mile High” entertained guests.

The following are the restaurants that participated:

Lakeview Grill, Sonora Tacos Y Mariscos, The Chair, La Vita Dolce, Burrito Shak, Hangar 24, Shugrues, Steven’s Tacos, Four Clovers and El Chaparro.
