Every year, members of the Desert Hills Fire Department and Auxiliary gather donations of food and toys to make the holidays a little brighter for families and children in the community.

This year is no different. Volunteers worked Saturday to prepare food baskets and separate toys for the special recipients of the community’s care and generosity.

Volunteers from the department and auxiliary were on hand to deliver 38 Christmas bundles Sunday to children throughout Desert Hills.
