The 7th annual Lake Havasu City Open disc golf tournament is ongoing today through Sunday at the SARA Park Disc Golf Course, hosted by the Lake Havasu City Disc Golf Club.
Sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association, the event features players from states as far away as Vermont. It is the first B-Tier tournament hosted by the Havasu club.
Arizona boasted the lion’s share of players at 84, with Nevada next with 36 players.
There are 63 pro players and 85 amateur players.
The tournament continues through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with awards and a raffle included.
Proceeds from the raffle will go to Lake Havasu City Youth Disc Golf.
