The Pineapple is the International symbol for WELCOME, which is what the Lake Havasu City Hospitality Association represents. Each team consist of five members from a business, service group or sponsored CTS members.

These participants undergo safety training and instruction on “how to paddle an outrigger canoe” from the Lake Havasu City Outrigger Canoe Club. A steers person from LHCOCC is assigned to a racing canoe with five team members on the day of the event. On race day teams will compete in heats.

The winning team is based on the best time from start to finish (approximately 1/4 mile). Participants must be 18 years old or older. Go to the website if interested in entering or sponsoring a team. It is a fun filled event to be a participant in, BUT just as much fun to watch and cheer! Join in on the festivities in the Channel, London Bridge Beach just North of the Lions Dog Park ON THE ISLAND. Bring your beach chair and enjoy the entertainment, Beer Garden and Food!
