For the past 13 years, Michael Alan Furniture and Design has supported breast cancer awareness. The “Michael Alan Sleepless in Havasu” event has raised over $375,000 to benefit breast cancer prevention through low-cost and local mammogram programs.

We are passionate about educating people about early-detection. The best way to fight breast cancer is to
detect the disease in its early stages. Mammograms can help detect 85-90% of all breast cancers.

The 24-hour Sleepless in Havasu is now an annual tradition. Every year the Mayor kicks off our event (as it’s been officially declared a Proclamation Day) as around 50 ladies gather at Michael Alan Furniture and stay awake for 24-hours to help raise money for this cause.

After 24 hours, local cancer survivors join us in announcing total donation. There is never a dry eye in the house when it’s all over. With the help of caring partners like you, we are truly changing and saving lives! Donations are the greatest part of revenue raised and we also organize a silent auction.

The deadline for donations for the silent auction is September 21st. Monetary donations/pledges will continue on until October 2nd @ 6pm. We are asking and hoping that you will be willing to offer a donation and any items that may be auctioned off. This will allow us to generate additional funds from the community with your support.
