The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 7:30am.

Since 1998, the Cancer Association of Havasu has hosted the popular Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.. The event is held, not only to raise awareness regarding breast cancer, but also to honor our Bosom Buddies Support Group members and local breast cancer survivors.

The walk and fun run start outside the Aquatic Center and winds through English Village and Rotary Park. It is held in conjunction with the Community Health Fair, participants generally finish with a stroll through the booths of the fair (held in the community rooms at the Aquatic Center.

Event registration is $20 for adults, $15 for youth and preschoolers are free with adult.

T-shirts are optional at $15 each. (No youth sizes.) Each year there is a new, collectible design. The 2019 shirt is based on the graphic in the sidebar: Hope is Greater Than Fear”.

Sponsors of the Walk & Fun Run receive free walker registrations, recognition at the event and larger sponsors may display their banner at the kick off rally.

Sponsorships and registration fees benefit the Cancer Association of Havasu and make possible their programs and services year round.
