Hey paddlers of anything that floats:
On March 19th, your very own Lake Havasu City Outrigger Canoe Club is sponsoring an ‘If it floats-race it’ event at Rotary Park.
You can race your hard or inflatable board in Thompson Bay. We offer a Novice race for those that have never raced but want to try it. We have short and long courses for you kayakers and, like we said, anything that floats.
If you want to, you can also try out a 6 man outrigger or a 1 man from ARE Outrigger World. Joey and ARE has graciously donated a brand new Tahitian canoe paddle to be raffled.
Gary from Canyon Paddle will be on hand with his inflatables. Also, LHCOCC has partnered with Canyon Paddle for a brand new inflatable SUP to be raffled.
We’ll have authentic Hula Dancing with Havasu Hula, featuring Havasu Hula Kahealani Cherland.
Food will be provided by Ohana Poke Bowl and The Mustard Seed. Yummy!!
See, all ya gotta do is go to LHCOCC.com, click on the Havasu Heat 🔥 logo, read just a little bit, then register for the race of your choice. Oh yeah, visit the registration booth at the South end of the channel on the Friday (2pm) before the race (18th) to pay and get your bib number. Ya need a bib number so you can scream it when you cross the finish line. How else would we know you won?
