COOK DETAILS – Entry fees are paid to the scorekeepers that morning (cash or check only). Register to cook at www.chilicookoff.com.
– 10×10 space provided. In case of wind, bring weights – you cannot put stakes in the ground.
– Cooks must bring their own canopy/tent, table & chairs, all cooking supplies, hand-washing and dish-washing stations. Food Handlers card and receipts for meat and vegetables are required by the Health Dept. who will be on-site to inspect each station.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE
Entry Fee: $20 – IF ONLY ENTERING THIS CATEGORY – No fee if entering at least one competitive category above.
Plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
All contestants must prepare TWO gallons of People’s Choice chili (PC), which must contain beans.
For contestants who prepare a minimum of FOUR gallons of People’s Choice chili (PC), they will be reimbursed $0.25 per tasting token received.

ICS invites chili chefs to compete in the 8th Annual Lake Havasu Chili Cook-off! This cook-off is fully-sanctioned by ICS and its winners will be eligible to participate in the ICS World Championship Chili Cook-off this fall!
The four competitive categories are Traditional Red (true Texas style with no beans or fillers; $35 entry fee), Homestyle (your favorite chili recipe – must have beans!; $30 entry fee), and Chili Verde (no beans or fillers, $30 entry fee), Veggie Chili (no meat products, can have beans; $20 entry fee). All chili must be made on-site with cooking times ranging from 10am-3pm, depending on the category.
Each cook will also prepare and serve “People’s Choice” chili (which must include beans!) to the hungry public who will vote for their favorites. No ICS membership is required for the People’s Choice competition ($20 entry fee).
We are still accepting cooks – all are welcome to join the fun competition! All competitive category entrants must be ICS members prior to the competition and memberships are accepted online only at http://www.chilicookoff.com/register.
