During fall 2025, The Arizona Republic’s climate reporter Joan Meiners, a Ph.D. ecologist turned award-winning journalist, traveled the entire 850-mile Arizona Trail by mountain bike to document how climate change is reshaping ecosystems across the Southwest.
Through powerful photos, video, and expert insight, her presentation explores Arizona’s most pressing environmental challenges and emerging solutions, mile by mile. Open to the public. Light refreshments available.
