Grace Arts Live Presents “Little Shop of Horrors”
Spoofing the 1950s sci-fi movies, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is one of the longest running off-Broadway shows and inspired a hit film adaptation. Meek plant store attendant, Seymour, discovers a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his co-worker crush.
The plant grows into an ill-tempered, R & B singing carnivore who offers him fame, family, and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite. Filled with rocking 60’s do-wop, Motown and pop ballads, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS has won almost every major Best Revival of a Musical award and has devoured the hearts of audiences around the world for more than forty years.
