On December 12, 4pm-6pm is the Stellene Matzdorf Christmas Festival and Party Among the Trees at the Lake Havasu Museum of History.
The 17th Annual Christmas Tree Festival at the Lake Havasu Museum of History has begun, and will continue until Jan. 5, 2019.
Following the passing of one of the charter Lake Havasu City Historical Society members, the name has been changed to honor Stellene Matzdorff.
The Christmas Tree Party Among the Trees is Dec. 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. Hot Wassail, punch and cookies will be served and members of the Colomonde Chorus will set the tone with their Christmas carols. There is a rumor that Santa might show up.
Dian Gibson decorated and donated a special “White Christmas” tree to be raffled off at the party and it can be taken home that night. Raffle tickets are available at the museum.
Holiday shopping at the Museum Store could provide just that special gift. A variety of items are available including localized Christmas Tree ornaments, jewelry, books, walking sticks, toys and more. The Lake Havasu Museum of History is located at 320 London Bridge Road. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
