Riders on the Orphan Train Foundlings on the Frontier

Mohave County Library hosts “Riders on the Orphan Train – Foundlings on the Frontier” on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 6:00 PM in Rooms A/B. Speakers Alison Moore, Author/Humanities Scholar and Phil Lancaster, Presenter/Musician, both from the National Orphan Train Complex Museum and Research Center, will present this program made possible by an AZ Humanities grant.

Between 1854 and 1929 over 250,000 orphans and unwanted children were taken out of New York City and sent west to find new homes. This program reveals some of their stories.

Due to seating limitations, free tickets will be available at the library starting one week before the event. Tickets are required, but this program is free and open to the public.
