The Relics & Rods Car Club was formed in 1975 by 9 residents who had an interest in old cars. The car show was eventually moved to October and the name was changed to “Run to the Sun” with as many as 1,000 vehicles attending the event.

This year marks another anniversary of the “Run to the Sun” car show. The show has been expanded to include 1972 and older cars and trucks and we are expecting over 900 entries. We are looking forward to one of the great events. Over the past several years the Relics & Rods Car Club has donated over $280,000 to local community charities with the proceedings from the shows. This is thanks to our many sponsors.

The weekend schedule is as follows:

Thursday, October 20: Cruise Night on McCulloch 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Open to the public.

Friday, October 21: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Show and Shine on London Bridge Resort Bridgewater Links Golf Course. Show and Shine two-day pass is $10. (Friday-Saturday)

Saturday, October 22: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Show and Shine on the London Bridge Resort Bridgewater Links Golf Course.  1o a.m.-noon is Ladies Fashion Show at the LB Resort Convention Center. Tickets are $5 with wristband and $15 without.  11 a.m. is remote controlled boats in the pond at Bridgewater Links Golf Course. Trophy awards 4 p.m.

Sunday, October 23:  9 a.m. Vehicles line up at Birch Square / McCulloch Blvd.
9:30AM PARADE begins down McCulloch Blvd to Capri Ave.
(Please obey all traffic lights. No Police escort. Side streets not blocked off).
