While many know of the local Mohave County Library, many don’t know of everything the establishment has to offer.

Despite the stereotype of a library being a building stacked to the ceiling with books, the library offers many different amenities.

Several sections for guests of all ages can be found within. There is the T-zone for teens, Kids Town, study rooms for those who need a quiet area away from all of the excitement and a large print area.

Not only does the library provide all of these areas, but there are also activities and programs throughout the day in which the community can participate..

For adults, the library offers crafting programs. “We try to do one a week,” library service manager, Wendy Wagner said. The Master Gardeners visit the library to talk about vegetation in Lake Havasu and what plants do well in this environment.

In T-Zone, teens can hangout with their friends, play video games and read a graphic novel.

Not only can guests check out books, but they can also check-out video games, music and movies.
