Lake Havasu may get very hot in the summer, but residents of all ages always seem to find ways to have fun in our extreme temps during the summer.
Children can participate in Aquatics and Recreation summer programs, theater at Grace Arts Live, dance classes and Kidz Art classes. Teenagers can join the Teen Zone at the Library, hang out at the Tinnell Memorial Sports Park or work their first summertime jobs. Adults are often found enjoying the river on their days off, hitting the gym, fishing in the early morning hours and visiting many of the popular restaurants and movie theaters. Adults 55 and over can also join the Desert Singles Social Club which meet at the Elks Lodge and they even play bocce ball in the early morning as well. Whatever your taste may be, there is always something going on in town, you just have to find what helps you sit back, relax, and enjoy Lake Havasu.
