Go Lake Havasu Presents Tourism Awards Wednesday

Go Lake Havasu hosted its Second annual tourism awards Wednesday afternoon. The event was at the Nautical Inn Convention Center and was part of National and Travel Tourism Week.

“2021 was a spectacular year for tourism in Havasu in so many ways. Visitation, tax revenue, events. The Tourism Awards Luncheon is an opportunity to showcase our successes and highlight three individuals who make unique contribution to our industry and shine in our community,” said President and CEO of Go Lake Havasu Terence Concannon.

The Rising Star Award was presented by Terence Concannon and went to Scott Barrett at the Nautical Beachfront Resort.

The Spirit of Tourism Award was also presented by Terence Concannon and went to Lisa Benz at That Dane Bar.

The Tourism Professional of the Year Award was presented by Jan Kassis went to Harriet Mclearen at Burgers By The Bridge.
