A bicycle ride from former AZBuilt Sports store on Swanson Avenue to the Shops at Lake Havasu Mall on State Route 95 and back featured 90 cyclists and supporters Saturday morning.

The Share The Road bike ride was in memory of Ken Stamm, Sandy Alger, Larry Smith, Deb Robinson and all who have lost their lives while riding bicycles in Lake Havasu City. The memorial ride was organized by Craig Raney and his cycle team from Havasu Bike and Fitness.

The Lake Havasu Police Department provided a full police escort for the riders and a special stop was made at the intersection of London Bridge and Retail Center roads where Havasu’s first dedicated bike lane begins.

Mudshark Brewery provided breakfast pizza and drinks at the end of the ride on their back patio and Walmart provided drinks for the cyclists at the half way turn around point in a tent.
