Havasu Preparatory Academy students went back to school Wednesday morning.

Amy Hanon school leader at HPA said Wednesday, “We are so excited to be beginning our seventh year of school here. We are looking forward to great things from our Advancement Through Determination program this year,” Hanon said.

She said all of the HPA teachers attended a summer institute to prepare for the program.

“We’re excited to continue that implementation and looking forward to a great year,” she said.

The students, ages K-12, unloaded their backpacks of supplies in their classrooms and after reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, were ready to hit the books.
