Local organizations London Bridge Rotary Club, Lake Havasu Rotary Club, Sunrise Rotary Club, Kiwanis and Lions Club donated $200,00 to local nonprofits Wednesday morning.

The money was raised during the 2022 Havasu Balloon Festival in January.

Since the first Havasu Balloon Festival, the event has raised $1,450,000 for local charities.

Some of the charities include the DAV, Rae of Hope, Clothes Closet, Parks and Recreation After School Program, Hospice of Havasu, KinderSwim, Adopt A Family, Faith and Grace, Adaptive Golf, Milemarkers, LHC Military Moms,  MCC, K-12 Foundation, H.A.V.E.N, and many more.
