K-12 Foundation Honors High Achieving Lake Havasu High School Seniors

The K-12 Foundation honored Lake Havasu High School graduating seniors at their Lake Havasu Unified School District 20th Annual Academic Recognition Banquet.

These senior high school students are graduating with the highest honor: Summa Cum Laude.

Carol Langford, President of the K-12 Foundation board said, “It is a very distinguished honor and we are thrilled to recognize them.”

Langford helped organize the event, making sure these students got their well-earned recognition.

“They get to choose an educator that has mentored or supported their academic career and that educator is here this evening along with family and friends,” Langford continued.

One of the honored graduating seniors, Jameson Mills, said, “I’d like to thank my teachers, especially my mom, my third-grade teacher. I’m excited to go to Northern Arizona University and study mechanical engineering next year.”

Another senior who was honored, Angelina Rybicki, commented on her journey, saying, “I’m super excited to be here. A big thank you to Mrs. Burke for helping me for the past few years to get to this point.”

One of the recognized educators, Dustin Blake, said, “Being invited to witness excellence at this level is a reminder that greatness isn’t an accident – it’s earned one choice at a time.”
