The Kids on the Colorado River nonprofit organization will host a free community event May 5^, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center.

“We are searching for other Lake Havasu Area nonprofits and businesses to help serve our youth and families for our Community Day on May 5, at the Aquatic Center,” according to a press release.

Nonprofits and businesses that cater to community youth or offer opportunities for youth activities, sports or recreational options are asked to partner with Kids on the Colorado for this event.

The Community Day is designed to help connect families across Lake Havasu with fun, active and engaging options for their children this summer and throughout the school year.

All local families and community members are invited to the event. Lunch will be served.
