The Lake Havasu Unified School District is celebrating the arrival of a new trailer that will be used by the Lake Havasu High School Band and Orchestra programs.

The band trailer was donated to the district after band boosters and donors worked together to put it together.

The trailer was stickered with the LHHS new logo and is ready for use.

The trailer will enable the growing LHUSD program to transport more uniforms, hat boxes, equipment and safer storage for instruments. The new trailer is not only larger than the one they had but also includes a ramp for much easier and safer loading.

“We are so fortunate that our community is so supportive,” said Lake Havasu High School Director of Bands Kimberly (Palmieri) Schreiber.

“The students are so very happy about the new trailer – easier, safer and more practical,” she said.

Sponsors include Ace Glass Tinting of Havasu, LHHS Band Boosters, Big-O Tires, Griner’s Detail Specialties, London Bridge R.V and Master Graphics.

The total amount donated to services for  trailer (including the price of trailer itself) was $10,259.26.
