Now that school is out, what is there for the children of Lake Havasu to do? The following is a list of events and camps going on around town that provide children with safe and supervised fun. The programs vary from educational to religious to just plain fun.

This list will be updated as more program information is received.

Aquatics & Recreation Summer Program
The Community Services and Recreation Division will be hosting “Sunshine Kids Summer Camp” at Havasupai, Oro Grande and Starline elementary schools. Camp Iwannago will beat Thunderbolt Middle School. Cost to attend is $290 for the first child and $230 for each additional child.
Full-time registration began on May 15, part-time registration begins on May 24.

Educational Summer Programs
Science Camp: Camp Invention
Smoketree Elementary School, June 5-9, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Cost to attend is $225.

Mohave Community College Summer Camps
Classes in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. June 5–15, 9 a.m. to noon
Must be 14+ years of age, cost to attend is $10.
