Soroptimist International was formed in 1921, 100 years ago.

Today SI has more than 75,000 members worldwide in more than 130 countries and territories.

To celebrate the centennial, Soroptimists International of Lake Havasu City has chosen to give 100 gifts to 100 senior women in the city.

Meals on Wheels has agreed to deliver 50 gifts to senior women on their routes and local Soroptimists visited seniors in various homes in Lake Havasu to personally give gifts to senior women.

The gifts included handmade cards, scented body spray named DREAM formulated by the Soroptimists in Lake Havasu, stamped envelopes and cards, nail files, hand cream, lip balm, lotion, inspirational cards and several other gifts donated by SILHC women.

Soroptimist International of LHC recognizes all the contributions of the generations of women that came before us and will continue to strive to do the same for the generations to come.
