The Lake Havasu High School Knights football team practiced for the first time on its new field early Monday morning.
Demolition of the old field began last spring and construction of the new field was completed the first week in August.
The new field will be open to the public for the first home game of the season on Aug. 31. The game starts at 7 p.m.
