Although summer is in full swing, there are some fall activities that just can’t wait.
The Lake Havasu High School football program is beginning its tryouts and team selections this week.
With about 42 freshmen showing up for the first day of tryouts, it appears there will be enough to field a Jv A and varsity team to begin the 2019 season.
“We are excited to embrace the challenge of another football season in Lake Havasu,” coach Karl Thompson said Monday morning.
“We had a great turnout for tryouts for varsity football and will continue to be better than we were yesterday on an off the field,” he said.
Can’t wait to watch my grandson play 🏈🏈🏈🏈
