Dave “RiverDave” Johnson representing Super Cat Fest 4 Kids and presented a check for $20,000 to the Kids on the Colorado River Educational Program at Havasu Riviera Marina Wednesday morning.  

On hand to receive the donation were Kids on the Colorado, Inc. Board Members: Mike Peters, Dan Delasantos, Dan Roddy, Andrea Helart, Gordy Hall and Jeannette Nangreave. Monica Hall representing the K-12 foundation was present to support the kids program and their contributors.

Additional contributions were received from the Lake Havasu City Elks Club. Elkettes Gabriela Medley, Donna Pineau, Chris Dukey, Vanessa Brewster, Karen Ford and Pam Depweg presented their check for $500 to the Kids on the Colorado River program.

The Kids on the Colorado River program educates 450 seventh-grade students about Lake Havasu water safety, ecology, history and recreation each year in the fall.
