The theme of the 51st London Bridge Days Parade was “A Day At The Lake.” And spectators lining McCulloch Boulevard Saturday morning weren’t disappointed.
Some of the 54 entries included Mohave County Search and Rescue, Lake Havasu C.E.R.T. Team, Cub Scouts Pack 992, Lake Havasu Girl Scouts, Marine Corps League, Cinderella Scholarship Pageant, Alive F.M., Mohave County Library, Lake Havasu Museum of History, Lake Havasu Military Moms, and U.S. Border Patrol El Centro Sector Horse Patrol Unit.
The parade’s Grand Marshal was former City Councilman Dean Barlow, who is also the Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year.
The London Bridge Days Corp., along with funding from local businesses and individual community members, made the 51st annual parade possible.
This year’s main sponsors were Anderson Chrysler and Anderson Powersports, Premier Golf Carts, and Havasu Adventure Company.
